A week of events dedicated to regenerating Puerto Rico’s vibrant culture through community and technology.
Restart Week is a movement for the community, by the community. We consider ourselves global citizens, with a common goal of helping boost the local economy of each region we focus on. The week of events is powered by a collective of motivated people from Puerto Rico and across the world on a mission to create lasting positive impact.
@virtualgrowth was there for the first Restart Week attending parts of three conferences that week and an additional week afterwards. Arriving early to initially help with a hackathon. Upon arriving was asked to help throw an event in a matter of days that had hundreds of attendees with a mixture of locals and blockchain people with some speakers and live music.
Got to know many people during those two weeks from many walks of life. Some have asked about my return. So looking for what opportunities there may be for many people. Stemming in part from interested people (such as @happymoneyman) that have asked how they may come to Puerto Rico to help too!
Some who were down there and will be again include @cybercodetwins, @lukestokes, @matt-a, @quinneaker, and @robrigo. Always great to see and do things with these people and many more!
STEEM House in Puerto Rico During Restart Week
Thought about and had mentioned the possibility of a few of us getting a place together. This may be mostly STEEM people or not depending what we manage to put together from interested individuals. Love to help align interests and efforts with connections in and outside of this event along with spending a few weeks down there. More than welcome people's ideas and input. We could possibly create or help with an event. Or simply efforts to ReStart... Please continue to reach out to me and others as many of you have.
