Awareness means to live every minute of life so that in the evening there is no question "What did the day go by?" . However, as many spiritual teachers have said for centuries, everything that we really have is a real moment.
One of the best ways to train our minds to stay in the present is to exercise. You can read many books about meditation and awareness, but without applying the recommendations from them, the case will not be.
