Teach me to number my days...

I barely do any writing, but I do lots of pondering. I am going to be adding a year to my years in less than two weeks, making me one year away from half a century! I thought I'd devote time to seeking God's face for fresh insight and direction on this next life journey that is ahead of me if He delays in returning. I wish I can have the past years back and have the younger me do things differently, this is not possible, therefore I will focus on now and the future. For the next few days till my birthday, I will meditate on God's goodness and count my blessings of what He has done. I can't fix my past and don't know what tomorrow holds but I know who owns tomorrow! So I rest in Him to teach me to number my days, to realize the brevity of life, that I may apply my heart to wisdom.
