In India, food flows faster than the blood in the nerves of its people! Food is so important that even after death, we don't mind delighting people with tasty delicacies. Yes such are the rituals! Well, on this holy month of Ramadan, when muslims all over the world coming closer and celebrating this auspicious time, we too left no behind and went to the Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi to witness the fun and festivity there.

Many of you might not know that Nizamuddin Dargah, located on the Hazrat Nizamuddin West area of Delhi, is the dargah of one of the world's most famous Sufi saints, Hazrat Khwaja Syed Nizamuddin Auliya. It is a very famous place of muslim faith but a large number of non-muslims also visit here on daily basis. Qawwali sessions are held every Thursday after Maghrib prayer that is sunset time namaz.

On our recent food trail to Nizamuddin Dargah Market, we explored the streets over a vast variety of gastronomical delights from Biryani to Kebabs, Tandoori Chicken to Nihari, Jalebis to Sevai and Samosa to Pakodas. As we never want you to miss anything, we took a few shots of the dargah, market and food. So here we go:

A shopkeeper stylishly posing for our shutterbugs!

And yes this festivity is incomplete without tasting sevai...
