In 2015 I fell ill with an unknown illness. I lost my memory and ability to concentrate, subsequently my job no longer needed me in it and what was most devastating was that I lost my sense of direction in life.
This led to an amazing journey of self-discovery, healing and the anatomic analysis of the human spirit.
I will be blogging a series of topics relating to the metaphysical side of the human body and sharing 'secrets' with you relating to open eye meditation, time travel, the 13 dimensions and also unlocking your potential and finding your destiny.
If you have ever felt lost in your lifepath, felt out of touch with your career, out of sync with people around you. If you have felt a greater purpose to all of this but felt you cannot quite grasp your essence then this is meant for you!
#OEM is the best way to take control of your here and now, it is NOT just a relaxation technique it's a primordial connection to your advanced self.
(Just a side note about me: I'm a software developer and not your average hippy type, shwami salami, i do bodybuilding and make edm music so this isnt your typical vegan yoga eastern guide, it's a secret that i discovered in my darkest days and now share to help mentor others)
So let's get to it:
What you will need
A comfortable pillow
x2 candles
Meditative music optional
Place your pillow in a quiet room towards the center of the room, i like using a tile floor if possible. Make sure there are no distractions.
Take two steps forward from the pillow and then place a candle about an arms length to the right and the left.
Light the candles and take a seat. Sit upright and cross your legs if possible. Place your right hand on your right knee and left hand on the lrft knee. Below is a diagram to give you an idea of the process.
The objective of this as a starting point is to get comfortable with taking some time for yourself, relaxing and connecting with an element of peace.
Open eye meditation works as follows set your level of perception between the two candles. As you look at the space between the two candles, now attempt to look at both candleflames at the same time.
There is not a set method when you do this the first time so i wil create one that i used. Keep your eyes closed at first. Get comfortable sitting, take deep yet gentle breaths and start to focus on relaxing every muscle in your body starting with your neck muscles. Experience the weight falling off your shoulders and the tension releasing around your neck, this in turn will hrlp your back muscles to relax.
Once you are completely relaxed you can OPEN YOUR EYES and focus your field of visibility inbetween the two candles. Try and lock your eyes on both flames at the same time. This is difficult and might strain your eyes a bit.
When you have them in your sights and you can successfully see them both for 20seconds at a time you will feel pins and needles on the top of your head. This is the start of activating the crown chakra. Once you have succeeding activating your crown chakra. Stop the #OEM process and focus on relaxing, down time is paramount!
