To ERR Is HUMANE to FORGIVE ;DIVINE.

“To Err is Humane “is proverbial phrase first time used by a poet “Alexander Pope” in his poem “An Essay on Criticism” in 1771.
It means that “To make mistakes is human nature so we should forgive each other like God forgive sinners”

As human beings, we commit sins.

We make mistakes which affect our personal lives.

And
The major Error we do is that we do wrong with others intentionally or unnational.
We all make mistakes in our daily life, learn lesson from them, make strategies to avoid these next times in our life and we always forgive ourselves generously & try to forget our blunders as well. We always try to find explanations of our wrong doings.

And the God the most Merciful& Beneficent, the most compassionate always show mercy whenever we seek HIS forgiveness. This is HIS Promise that HE will forgive whoever repent because HE loves us seventy times more than our mothers.

BUT
It is much difficult for us to forgive others who do wrong with us in anyway that’s why I called it Major mistake.

Question arises that why it is difficult to forgive others when Divine is forgiving all our sins on simple asking. HE never asks us to compensate damages.

Answer in my opinion is that:

It is due to lack of empathy and understanding as We are egoistic and eccentric enough.

Lack of love and care,

We never think of our own negative actions and other situational factors and blame others fully.

We have double standards for ourselves and for others.

But we all know that forgiveness is for our benefit.

Not forgiving others make us sick both mentally and physically. We are known as rigid and harsh. So, show empathy and forgiveness to others like you expect it from GOD. To make us stress free and comfortable. By forgiving we make things better not bitter.Forgiveness is not something we do for others. We do it so we can get well and move on.

FORGIVING others is hard . The week can never forgive It is the attribute of the strong.It is not an occasional act , it is constant attitude.

Lewis said “To forgive is to set the prisoner free and to discover that the prisoner was you “
So, forgive others for your sake.

To Err is Humane,to forgive,divine.
