The Problem of different Membership Cards

Pain Point:

In today’s society the amount of memberships everyone has is steadily increasing, ranging from gym memberships or bonus programs to essential stuff like health insurance cards. This results in an increasing amount of membership cards that needs to be carried around to fully utilize these memberships or have a basic coverage of your essential needs.

How could this Pain Point be reduced or eliminated in a blockchain-world?

The easiest way to solve this problem would be to have a database, where all memberships are stored and encrypted, and only the person and the respective organization has a cryptographic key for it. To make sure all the data is tamper-proof it would be best to use a private blockchain. This concept would eliminate the need to carry all these cards with you and instead you would only need access to this blockchain.
