Hello dear steemians,
This week's initiative of @derangedvisions is very interesting. This reminded me that weeks ago, I was talking with my son about the vision of dogs. It used to be said that dogs do not see in color, that their vision only distinguish the black and white silhouette. My son found on the internet that this statement was false. Dogs do distinguish colors, but with less definition than humans.
Now, there are people who have a genetic disorder that prevents them from distinguishing between the colors green, red and blue. They are called colorblind.
In addition, within this group are those who suffer from Achromatopsia, it is estimated that there are 30,000 people in the world who see in grayscale and much less people in black and white. Fortunately, this is a rare disease of congenital origin.

Our pet loves to hide among my daughter's blankets, Nena is a white Poodle, although I would suffered from this strange disease she would make me laugh with her pranks.

I imagine walking through a hostel among gray vegetations, feeling the peace and freshness of the place.

Or after jogging for an hour around a square. Stand in front to see in perspective the fountains and statues. You are sweaty, but with a cold sight.

I remember when I took this picture in Brasilia. I told myself that reckless are those men who hang on that great building. Black and white also looks risky.

It is undeniable that most human beings are fortunate to see life in color. Although black and white or grayscale photographs have their charm, it is wonderful to enjoy the wide range of colors. Other than beautiful, they also fulfill a function in the natural order.
Thanks for reading me.
See you soon.

Hello @janaveda I love the contrast you provided in this post. Indeed, what would the world be without colors? I can't imagine not being able to enjoy sunsets if that would be the case. Have a great week! Congratulations too on being a minnow now! ^_^ keep in touch...

Great post for the #lifewithcolor theme. Nena has the right idea right about now. It is cold where I live and I need to get a nice warm blanket.
