Entry Into @thekittygirl Contest! Dolphin Status And A Contest!

As I swim around in the big ocean they call Steemit, working to curate posts to make curation rewards or making posts to get post rewards to power up, struggling to build my SP to grow my channel. I have not bought any Steem, all the Steem I have is from posting and curating. Not that I did not want to, things are too tight for me to be able too.

I have met many other small fish in this big ocean struggling to do the same thing. I have made some new friends along the way and worked to help them, as they have me to grow our channels. We all stay near the coral so we will have a safe place to hide in case we need too because sometimes we look up to see the sharks circling above us.

Yes, there are some sharks on Steemit. Some of them are the plagiarist, the vote farmers, and the bitter people here on Steemit. We hide because we do not want to be involved with those types of fish on Steemit, as it will ruin our reputation, what little we have as a small fish here on Steemit. They are a bigger fish here and lure some small fish in with bigger upvotes and once they have their teeth in you it is too late.
There are some small fish that have been around a while and as friends, we help the other small fish to the dangers of this type of behavior on Steemit. Showing them the right way to do things. How to source the pictures or gifs you use in your post, making sure they source the text they get from other websites that are used in their posts. This is a problem I see a lot of small fish not doing this right.

That is because a friendly dolphin came swimming by and helped this little fish out at some point and time. Showing him the right way to do things on Steemit and he is helping out his friends the other little fish around him. I am struggling to be like that dolphin that came by and helped me out because I want to not only help out other little fish in this big ocean of Steemit but other dolphins also that are working hard to make Steemit a better place for all.

Hopefully, then one day becoming a whale just under the surface of this big ocean of Steemit helping out channels, big and small, that are struggling and working at building their channels. Also working to bring in other users to show and help them to build their channels and how to also work at making Steemit the best it can be on the blockchain.

Moving forward, you may want to use 'Steem' vs 'Steemit' as they are not the same thing. But the truth is there, sharks smell blood and they're all over it in a feeding frenzy. Only thing those free flags are worth anything for is to try and minimize the true reward pool rapists.

I tried to differentiate the difference between the two in talking about the platform and the crypto.
I might have just made a mess of it but at least I give it a shot. I really think we need to work on getting a lot more good dolphins to help take care of the sharks on the platform. The sad part I guess is there are a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing here on the platform. The more I look into users the more I see the truth.
Users we called friends having alt accounts that are storage accounts and they are just farming votes and raping the reward pool. When small accounts like me and others work hard to try and build our accounts right.
Sorry, enough ranting, as this was supposed to be a positive post. I just get frustrated at this sometimes!!!!

Yes, I learned many things from the military and one of the "Good Things" from that time was that as a team we can achieve many things but alone it is much harder and most of the time, not all the time, results in failure.
