Wonderful day today. The birds finally found the bird bath. Three small birds all in it together. I couldn't get close enough to see what bird family they were without startling them. Ah life is successful now.
Also started to side the famous "shed" monster-project. Using 6" fence boards. Go up like a dream and most economical way to side it.
The worst, absolute worst, part about this shed thing was dealing with the metal roof.
The 8' x 2' economy sheeting came up 20" too short in order to overhang properly for the rain. I tried to calculate things but, well.. they came up short.
So I had to cut the metal sheets.
This was even worse than trying to climb on the roof.
Sparks flying everywhere and metal pieces shooting out like shrapnel from a bomb.
I had eye-wear and a face mask but neglected to wear long sleeves. I did eventually realize the value of long sleeves.
I thank Krishna I got the 9 pieces cut and the roof is "done" with only minor injury.
Supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow. let's see what kind of roof it is.
