Thanks for the reply! Yeah I'll have to look into it. I am constantly amazed by the successes of cryptocurrencies, the little bit I've seen here and there and can understand, that is. Makes me think I should get in the crypto game. Thanks again!

I would agree.
The consensus from those I have read (and followed) is to start with the big ones. Start your research with bitcoin, litecoin, and ethereum. All offer differ technologies while having the likelihood of lasting long term. After that, you can look to other alt-coins in the top 20 or 30.
