Thoughts on Litecoin's decline in price?

in litecoin •  7 years ago

Does anyone know on why Litecoin is valued so low compared to other coins that are used for similar purpose such as bitcoin/bitcoin cash? Yes, I understand Charlie sold all of his shared but he has kept his promise that he would continue to work on improving it. He tweeted 3~4 days ago that the transaction fee is going to be reduced to 1/100 from already low fee. Transaction time is already so much faster than the competitors. And, litepay.us is in beta and is to be released in Feb. His tweet came out a couple of days ago already. Yet the price of Litecoin has been declining. I just can't rationalize this.

I think it will rise eventually. It stayed below $100 for close to a year (I mean held around $60 or so, it was under $100 for much longer) before things kind of exploded with Bitcoin and people started looking for an affordable alternative. A sharp decline would be bad, but mild stability isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I think Litecoin will explode in value becuase its market cap is very low but as a technology it is way ahead of most other coins.
