Is Charlie Lee (Litecoin Creator) actually Satoshi Nakamoto (Bitcoin Inventor)?

in litecoin •  7 years ago

I was always curious about this question myself.. I used to mine LTC and it made a lot of sense to me, even if I was not sure it was a good investment (which it is).

It's rare that such a mystery goes on for years and is never solved. To me, that means that we are dealing with an uber genius; someone not typical and not easily manipulated.

The mystery of Satoshi is certainly an incredible one. He was thinking many, many steps ahead. That type of person could also possibly embed themselves back into the industry, unnoticed.

It's incredibly fun to think about. I hope we find out some day.

I went into bitcoin talk one day and read his posts, they literally feel like reading the works of history (which they are). It definitely could be Charlie Lee. I definitely don't think it's Craig Wright. I would also be disappointed if it was. I agree that whoever it is, he definitely was manyyyyyyyyy steps ahead and knew the ramifications of what could happen if his identify was made known. I also feel sometimes like Charlie Lee in public comes off overly simple, when he's clearly a genius. I feel like he's almost at times keeping it simple on purpose to not show that he could be satoshi. He's denied it a few times, but honestly if I were him, I would never admit it.

It's amazing how history happens. Maybe one day in a few centuries, some archaeologist or something will find proof that charliee is satoshi... on the super advanced blockchain that i can't even envision where tech will be at that point (if the earth survives, lol but not really lol)

I would say, you should write your own article on this subject. Let us know what you have found in your reading on the subject?

I've written an article on the mystery of Satoshi and who he/she might be;

Just seen Charlie in an interview and he seems very straightfaced and down to business. A bit like what people have reported Satoshi spoke like on his posts during the early days. Got me thinking.

Satoshi Nakamoto is a great man who has been ahead of his time for dozens of years. He changed the world forever. But I'm afraid we'll never know who he really is. Given that one of the principles laid in the base of bitcoin - anonymity. I think Satoshi wants to stay in the shadows.
