Woot. I am happy to see Canada in the midst of these advancements. There will be bitcoin atms that will now support litecoin in the city. Not only that they have plans to support other alt coins in the future (come on steem). The problem is the fees are up there but it is nice to have a psychical place to deal with litecoin or bitcoin, it is easier to use.
I have used the bitcoin machine and it is pretty convenient. You scan you QR code for your bitcoin wallet and feed in money. I felt like a hacker when I did it :p. It was in a cash advance place. I know there are more of these popping up in Europe and there might be more machines in Toronto. I should probably just get used to doing it all online but it is nice to have the option. And for litecoin, I do not know much about it but it does seem to be pretty popular

I've been using one for BTC in Victoria, BC since early 2015. I find the fee to be pretty high but have only used it a dozen times or so.
It's still at the Hemp & Co. clothing store downtown. here's a link
I've never had the opportunity to exchange BTC for cash so I have no real idea how much it'll spit out. I expect there's a prompt for higher amounts to contact the owner/operator.
It's calculated in USD so right now that's a 20% premium on top of the 5% user fee. It will accept as much as you want to pump into it but it must be cash.
