Sad to hear about the passing of Ursula K. Le Guin last week. A Wizard of Earthsea was a very inspiring book. It basically started my songwriting career in 1997 where I composed a whole concept album based on this story. I recorded it as a demo tape with my buddy Ralle during our summer holiday. Party at night and rocking during the day... those were the days!
The instrumental songs became the foundation for our first full-band album "Ancient Skies". Our band was called Divine Symphony, but that's another story...
