Everyday above the ground is a good day. I spent a huge part of my life in the past three years depressed and clueless about what life was about. One day it occured to me that in the midst of the covid 19 pandemic people were loosing their loved ones.
In my troubled mind i managed to realise the importance of a second. How someone on their death bed would give to have just one more second. It seems INSIGNIFICANT until you put a few seconds together and you have a whole lot of time.
It became pertinent never to look back to the past and its terrible reminders of failures. I read many motivational memes and looked for hope in many different places. The best encouragement i found was a suggestion to only look in the past if it would give me the energy to keep moving forward. That was the difference I needed.
In life the past should never a hold on us. If at all it should hold any importance in our lives, it should be to laugh at the good times, remember the lessons from the bad experiences and to motivate us to make better and improved choices in the future. Apart from that, it should remain in its place in the past where it belongs.
So keep moving and make every second count. Because when time is up you never want to regret having wasted any second you had.
