Have you ever thought of living beyond mediocre? Living a mediocre life is not something that I would recommend, but it does happen. I am not talking about living in a mansion or even living in Beverly Hills. I am simply talking about making money in a mediocre way. If you have an MBA and you are still stuck in a mediocre job, then living in a mediocre world is for you.
By not living in a mediocre life, we can spend more time with our families, friends, or travel the world. Spending time with our family and friends is important and yet many people choose to live in mediocre jobs. When you work in an area that you enjoy, then you don't feel like you have to do things, which aren't as fun. Living in a great area gives you more flexibility to enjoy what you want to do.
If you find yourself in a job that you hate, then you need to look at why you are in the job. It could be that you haven't had a raise in years, or you may have been burned on a bad boss. You need to look at your situation honestly. Once you find out the truth you will be able to move on and become the person you want to be. I have worked in many mediocre areas and have found that most people are not happy with their lives there.
If you have had a bad boss, don't let that stop you. Work hard for the people you do have. Don't waste your life working in an area that you don't care about. Most people work until they can't take anymore. Once you are at your wit's end, you should look into ways to make money and change your life.
Money is the key to having freedom. Have enough money to live comfortably, but don't let your financial situation control your life. I have lived beyond what my income has afforded me in the past, and you can do it too. There is no reason to live paycheck to paycheck when you can put food on the table for the family each and every day.
Look for ways to make a difference in other people's lives. This is your opportunity to show the world that you are not average. There is no need to feel sorry for yourself, or feel like a failure. The world needs people like you.
