I want to share with you something I learned a while back that has really helped me in my path in life.
As an introvert, me point of view usually more introspective. Looking from the inside out: I have always been curious as to what motivates us a species. What is it that fuels our volition. More importantly what guides us?
I have learned that we all act accordingly to our Values.
To value something means to place it in an order of esteem. A Value is something that you give importance to in your life. Our values are the framework that we use to evaluate our actions and our values define us. For example, common values are things like Honesty, Integrity, Order, and more of the type. Knowingly though there also bad habits to which we can attribute time and energy (ultimately assigning it some value). For example, if a certain individual values punctuality, he will probably soon be known for being on time. On another example, a guy that values his family time will spend time and energy into the time spent with his loved ones.

All that i'm pointing to is to say that values are the fundamentals ideas that assign a value to. Ultimately we give time and energy to our values. As we act in the world, our values echo and ultimately our values define us.

Proverbs 4:24
Amplified Bible

"Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For from it flow the springs of life."

In short, my advice to you all is to be weary and judgemental about your Values. If you think your life is heading in the wrong direction that you would to stop and correct the course. In the same sense, if something is out of place in your life, try to figure out what is it that you valuing.
