Which Law Course is good?

In both courses, the students learn Labour law, Family Law, Constitutional Law, Conciliation and Alternative Dispute Resolution System, Crime Law of Tort & Consumer Protection Act, Legal Writing, Arbitration, etc. The basic difference in both degrees is that 3 years LLB can be pursued after completing a graduate degree in any stream while 5 years integrated law course can be pursued only after completing class 12 or its equivalent exam. 3 years LLB course is divided into 6 semesters while the 5 years integrated law course is divided into 10 semesters and on completion of all the semesters, the students are awarded the LLB degree.

How to get admission?

The students in India who want to be law professional can pursue 3-year LLB courses right after Class 12th. The admission process for both the law courses is not the same for all the law schools in the country. However, most of the law schools in India offer admission through national level or state level or university level entrance test or through merit in the qualifying exam. Some of the most popular law entrance tests in India are TS LAWCET, MHT CET, AILET, CLAT, AP LAWCET, and LSAT. The total fee of both of these courses varies depending upon the law schools. Soon after completing a 3-year law course, the candidates are offered plenty of job opportunities for various job profiles.
