When you hear the world "real estate" or "mortgage", if your like me your eyes usually roll into the back of your head if they don't glaze over first - but stick with me for a minute.
While you may or may not own a home, someone in your family probably does - if so share this with them as it could save them a lot of money and you be the family hero instead of a zero.
Refinancing a home to lower your interest is a hassle at best and you usually have to deal with an agent or broker, get files, tax returns, pay stubs and spend a lot of time going through the refinance process that then adds a large additional charge to your loan.
Most banks can do what is called "recasting" your mortgage and its as easy calling your bank and asking them if they can "recast" your loan ( meaning lowering it to the current rate).
The fee to do this is generally 50-75% lower than a refinancing and its much faster. The bank already has your records on file and you just usually give them your latest pay stub!
I know someone who just saved 600.00 per month doing this. Pass it on to your friends and family. Use some of the saving to buy some Steem!!!
