According to John 4;21-24, Jesus stated that worship is not determined by locations but by the relationship between a man and God.
Worship flows out of a human spirit to God not from a church building or a mountain.
This implies that without a church building, worship is very possible.
I Corinthians 6;19-20 says we are the temple of the living God and that we are bought with a price. This means that God bought for himself a building before our churches built any building. Therefore as ministers of God we should be more concerned about building on the temple God bought for himself.
This is so important for such a season as this where the whole worship centers are locked down. For every believer, what speaks now is what they have in the inside. This is why building the people should be more of a project than building buildings.
'Worship is possible without the building but the building is not relevant without the people.'
I therefore suggest that we should focus on building the people rather than, buildings.
Also, as we build buildings, we should not ignore the growth of the people. The word of gid has to be taught undiluted.
I hope that as you listen you'll understand. I pray the lord helps us to understand our role as a church in Jesus name. AMEN.
