Locks quest remaster ost is horrable

I'm not being biased the steam ps4 update ruined a ost that was suppose to emphasize the feeling of the struggle of war, the hurt of feeling like you constantly end up losing when you gave it your all against the clock work army.

If you think I'm being picky ill give valid examples.

Noticed something? The ds version felt rich. The vocals was giving depth with the instruments. Making the melodies and, chorus stick better. While, wtf happened in the remake?

It sounds like a poorly dubbed over cover with little thought or, care put into it.

The battles suffer the same fate. The original on ds just has so much more expression while , the remaster sounds like it tries way to hard. Dub stepping a ost that's not suppose to be dub step.

Ds battle 3 theme:

Remaster battle 1:

Did you notice how the ds version just felt catchy? The remaster ost mostly ditches what made the ost good.Lets go back to another , ds tune when you fight in a 2d defend your castle esk part.

As you'd play the ba from the vocals would Que you in on the flow of combat. The music would flow pending on the lv you were at fitting the mood.

Here's one the remaster really screwed up that the ds does superior.

The later themes just get the feeling across so much beater. Character themes like heather that got edited don't sound at all right :/

The credits theme after, 2 min is seriously really good.

I really wish people could get this into a anime. The concept and, story is heart breaking . To this day I can say if it had good voice acting more people would understand why the remaster will age horribly compared to the ds version.image.jpeg
