Loner, Pluses of being a loner

Specially in contemporary western culture being a loner is not good quality, it’s not cool. You are not social enough, you are not spending enough time to build connections. As always there many good qualities you might possess. You probably have higher requirements for friendship. You don’t really seek too much acceptance from people. You see much clear impact of time on your life than most people. It’s very natural for you to see time as an asset. At the same time you value other people time. You respect genuineness in people and don’t tolerate fake, manipulative behavior. So people who value your time as you value their time can find a great friend in you. You are more independent person, you don’t disturb people by trivial things.
Many are afraid of their own thoughts or their inner world so they indulge themselves in external activities. You are on the other hand want time to self-reflect, you want to become more self-aware. Time to digest and make sure that you understand information properly is very important for you. There are plenty of people who have problems to understand themselves. Plus by understanding yourself you start to understand other people better. Additionally this time gives you ability to root deeper in the problem to solve it.
Usually loners are very open minded to new ideas. They understand how important is their world for them and they can respect that other people have their views and inner worlds. Loners respect their boundaries and clearly see when other people crossed them. This ability gives them to be very sensitive to other people boundaries, and it makes loners more empathetic people. It’s the ability to sympathize with other people on their own level and by understanding deeply their problems, you can come up wth the best solution for them.

Creating virtue within is a very lonely task. There is very few people seeking to examine themselves in any real and meaningful way. There are however people who are doing so. A part of natural law explains that like is attracted to like. Which I suspect is what is happening to me right now. I am going to write a post about virtue and I sure hope that you share what you have gained on it in comments. For me it is always good to see depth that is not my own.

Big virtue for me is ability to see things from different perspective of views. Ability to contemplate and try to stay impartial to find the truth

Truth is virtue and seeing it is more virtue. I wrote that post and posted it on @aconsciousness . I have two accounts and am trying to move philosophy to this new one.
