I wonder what the median age is in this network? How many of us are over 60? Any thoughts about retirement?
I am in this group and been studying the convergence of longevity and technology on future generations including the baby boomers. Here are ten points to ponder- no matter what age you are right now.
- Longevity is about all of life. It starts at birth.
- It is changing and is not the same journey as our parents and grandparents enjoyed.
- How do you work for 40 years and save enough to live another 40- not possible.
- A long life beyond 60 needs a reason to get up daily.
- Why do we not teach compound interest at school in life skills?
- Why do most of us not plan or think enough about retirement until it is too late?
- Why do we throw away our old people and not see them as valuable?
- How do we change the mindset around a trend that has been there for more than 100 years?
- Do you value your intangible assets like networks, relationships and vitality as part of your asset collection?
- Working longer may be the best insurance policy for your future.
The world is changing. We need to think about these things. Do you?
