Praise the Lord: So may all your enemies perish, LORD! But may all who love you be like the sun when it rises in its strength

The book of Judges in the Bible tells us a period in the history of the people of Israel that goes from the entrance to the land of Canaan with Joshua until the arrival of the first monarchy with Saul. The judges had been instituted by Moses, and these leaders as an Aristocracy governed Israel in a period characterized by the fight against many enemies and oppression.
After Joshua's death, there was a tyrant who was greatly feared by Israel and was particularly oppressive, his name was Sisera. And about this oppressor the Bible gave us a introduction:
"Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD, now that Ehud was dead. So the LORD sold them into the hands of Jabin the king of Cannan, who reigned in Hazor. Sisera, the commander of his army, was based in Harosheth Haggoyim. Because he had nine hundred chariots fitted with iron and had cruelly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years" Judges 4:1-3.
And the cry for the oppression that Sisera made over Israel, reached the Lord. And it was so that God raised up the prophetess Deborah to free Israel, and she in turn summoned Barak and her army, together they managed to defeat Sisera in a battle near Mount Tabor.
And, as it happens in all the heroic deeds in the Bible, the Bible teaches us a beautiful song in commemoration of the fact, and this song is known as the Song of Deborah and Barak. This song is a prayer to the Lord, because in the face of the need of his faithful, the Lord provided a great victory, and so Israel strengthened their trust in the Lord and was released; praise be the lord tells us at the beginning, the song:
"Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers!
I, even I, will sing to the LORD;
I will praise the LORD, the God of Israel, in song" Judges 5:3.
And then the song ends in a very beautiful way, the enemies of God like Sisera must be defeated and those who are devotees of the Lord remembered and praised:
"So may all your enemies perish, LORD!
But may all who love you be like the sun
when it rises in its strength" Judges 5:31.
