If you enjoy photography and visiting castles, this is the winery to go to. My friend and I visited the castle when it first opened in the morning. Hardly anyone was there, so it was the perfect time to take photographs. The lighting was ideal, and we we were able to freely tour the castle without a huge crowd. Within 1/2 an hour of it opening, it quickly became crowded. Tickets for the castle without a private tour are around $30.00. This includes wine tasting. For an additional $5.00, you can buy a small box (3 in quantity) of chocolates. The sweet wines are fabulous and their chocolate is delicious. They serve bread sticks with the wine and the servers are very friendly! At the gift shop, they have some wine glasses to purchase with dragons, gargoyles, lions, etc. on them. They have lotions, soaps, oils, wines, chocolates, key chains, and coasters. It is worth a trip to visit. I've been back many times due to the fabulous wine they sell there, and it's a great place to take guests. For people who are unable to consume alcohol, there is a grape juice option.
