Feeling Down: Reflecting on My Portfolio Losses This Week

in losses •  4 days ago

This past week has been a rollercoaster, but unfortunately the financial side of things has been all downhill. Over the last 7 days I have lost $1,663 USD in my portfolio. It is a tough pill to swallow, and I can’t help but feel overwhelmed.

I’ve been holding onto a huge bag of $MYRO, which I purchased when it was trading at $0.14. Seeing its current price at just $0.06373 is gut-wrenching. The hopes I had for this token are now overshadowed by the deep red numbers in my portfolio.

Then there’s $OBI. I bought into it at $0.014, and now it’s hovering around $0.007746. I believed in this project, but watching it nearly halve in value has been disheartening, to say the least.

And $GHX… I had high hopes for this one when I got in at $0.18. Now, at just $0.0731, it feels like another blow to an already battered portfolio.

I’m sharing this because I know I’m not alone. Many of us have been there—buying in at the peak, believing in projects, only to see the market take a different turn. It’s a reminder of how volatile this space can be and how crucial it is to manage risks, even when emotions are high.

To my fellow investors out there: how do you stay strong during times like this? Any tips for keeping perspective and finding balance?

P.S. I’ve attached some charts to show the struggles of this week. It’s painful, but I believe sharing is part of the process. Let’s learn and grow from this together.
