The love of God: Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Psalm 143:8

The Psalm 143 is a Psalm whose authorship is attributed to King David, and this Psalm teaches us that the gifts of salvation and the spiritual love (Agape) are not products of human efforts, but they are a grace from above.
In the song, a man persecuted by his enemies, probably David, anguished by his future puts his total trust in God, the only possible help in the face of the situation, and he asks the Lord for his eternal love and spiritual protection:
"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life" Psalm 143:8.
The Psalm reminds us that God's unconditional love teaches us the way to go, and whoever sets out on his path does not see his hope disappointed. The love of God is the love projected towards the whole creation of God, and whoever accepts it finds a progressive path towards peace, prosperity, and security, as the proverb explains: "The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day" Proverb 4:18.
There is no greater blessing for the man than receiving a heart of flesh from God, and whoever fears God can expect to receive blessings from the Lord, that is why the Psalmist expressed not his fear of men but his fear of the Lord (constancy, firmness, devotion, equanimity) with these wise words:
"Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground" Psalm 143:10.
This Psalm is a reminder of the importance of placing ourselves in the hands of God in difficult times, and of knowing that the Lord through his mercy (compassion, kindness, gentleness) humbles the powerful and exalts the humble. As the Psalm teaches, God's love makes us better people and frees us not only from our problems, but it is also the source of true happiness.
