Double Whammy
My Father had recently had a bad spill one evening after taking his blood pressure meds. The meds were newly prescribed, as he had never taken meds before for blood pressure, but the Doc said it was for "preemptive" measures... I call bullshit. But anyway, he got light headed and fell over his old rocking chair and broke it, the one I put up on the tree stand a few posts back.
My Father enjoys to read a lot and rock in his chair, so he went ahead and did his thing that he is so used to in this consumerism materialistic world, with his not giving a F@ck where it's coming from kind of mentality that most of his generation shared and bought four more rocking chairs. Two for inside, and two for outside. I had the honor of constructing all four of these chairs, the first two are already completed and not pictured. But are Solid Teak rocking chairs.
The two pictured below I put together last night. I pray for Susan and her health as well as for my Father.
