antiphon steem jpg.jpg left us with wise words and quotes that are timeless. One of the quotes attributed to him reads as follows:
“Two things a man cannot hide; that he is drunk and that he is in love.” –Antiphons.

Let’s take the signs of the inebriated person…
• He slurs his words
• He staggers
• His perception and judgment are poor
• He may become physically ill (vomits)
• His eyes are bloodshot
• He may become loud and disturb the peace

And you also know the tell-tell signs that someone is in love:
• He spends more time with her and less time with his friends
• Much of his attention is on her
• He becomes a poet
• He calls and texts her often
• He awakes with a smile on his face
• He wants to touch her
• He’s not loud. His voice is soft and soothing and it seems as though he’s about to break out into song at any moment
• He often loses his appetite
• He’s conscious of his appearance
So what can a man do when he’s fallen in love? He can realize he’s been bitten by the love bug and not to fight the feeling. He can embrace the mood. When the light of love has permeated his being, it cannot long be hidden from those who have eyes to see. The light of love is bright.
