"There is a Flower...I Think That She Has Tamed Me."

While sitting and enjoying some live music and a nitro cold brew coffee at Mi Poco LA at the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona, California, I focused on this neon sign that once advertised a florist, cropping it in my viewfinder to create the name of the woman sitting next to me, Flor, my flower. When I think of her name as "flower," I am always reminded of The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, one of my favorite books, and quotes from the book come to mind like:

"If some one loves a flower of which just one example exists among all the millions and millions of stars, that’s enough to make him happy when he looks at the stars. He tells himself, “My flower’s up there somewhere. . . ."
