Good evening, Steemit! I’m sitting here, sick and sore, but surprisingly energetic and productive. Maybe because this is a cold and it’s laughable to the flu I had a few weeks ago. I didn’t get much done during the day, other than a few games of Magic: The Gathering with @vermillionfox and @iamredbar. Once we got home, though, I got @guthrie to bed and the focus came. A new edit of Holly Madison and dozens more emailed releases for “Dark Pinup” before my upcoming marathon weekend with @wcpublishing. Yeah. It’s been a good night. A Steemit post will be the icing on the busy cake and I can cough my way to sleep knowing I didn’t waste my day.
onight’s photography is, as mentioned, new work of New York Times best selling author, Holly Madison. I’ve been on a warpath lately […probably why I’m sick], getting edits finished for the book. I’d sent Holly a few texts of the last couple of edits I’d finished and hadn’t heard back from her. It worried me a little, but she’s busy and travels a lot. @wcpublishing called me during my last trip to the east coast and let me know we really need to finalize the remaining model releases before going to print. Holly was one of those cases, so I sent her a message through Instagram that night.
Fortunately, I did hear back from her. She sent me her new numbers and I texted her the backlog of photo edits. I didn’t want to post any of these until she’d seen them. It isn’t a requirement, but it’s how I like to do business. As of tonight, then, I have new Holly Madison photos to share with the Steemit community. All shot with a Nikon D750 with natural or available light, taken in La Cañada, CA. Hope you enjoy.
