Fall but Recover

Are you one of those who kept on telling themselves, " You should not show your weaknesses to others; Smile as wide as you can; Bow down once corrected or disappointed by your own action, but never cry in front of strangers; Pout but don't show your tears in front of them?

However one day, you found yourself breaking your own principle. When the pain within was triggered and the pressure rapidly increased that your physical self gave up. The pain, sadness, and burden quickly intensified. They suffocated you without choosing the right place and the right time that you exploded like an erupting volcano. After the incident, you no longer have the confidence. and start walking backward. That was the time when you realized that disappointing yourself is more painful than disappointing others.

This incident seems too easy to surpass for those who didn't experienced it. Yet it kills, or nearly killed those who experienced it. In just an instance, seemingly all your achievements and confidence vanished. Your heart hurts every time you go outside your room. You wanted to make yourself invisible to all people. Some can't fight it and chose to stay alone, cry, sleep, eat, and kill every minute that pass by. The worst thing is that some chose to end their lives.

If it happened that you are reading this, ask yourself, "Who were you before the incident? Who were you before you were bullied? Who were you before you broke down? Is it worth it for you to waste your past achievements just because of a circumstance? Does it bring you justice to sleep in your room or kill yourself? You had gone so far but you immediately decided to give up? Yes, it broke you but find medicine to heal your wounds and fix your broken bones. It made you cry and lonely but look around you and think of those who were happy because of you and those that are making you happy. It lowered your self-esteem but recall your goals and achieve something to recover the confidence you lost. It made you stop for a second but look back and see how far you've walked. Think of the past challenges that you surpassed. Then look where you are standing, reflect on what went wrong, continue, and let those stumbling blocks be one of the strongest blocks for you to walk.
