Every lock on LoveBlock is different. 3,89,50,081 unique combinations of locks can be generated by the platform. That is a humongous number, and this variability in locks is being made possible by following the ERC721 token standard. Unlike the ERC20 standard where every token is exactly the same, ERC721 allows non-fungible tokens to be generated 4hich implies that every token can be created with different characteristics and traded differently as well.
The investable characteristic of a love lock gives you the option to either use a lock to symbolise your unbreakable love on the blockchain, or simply put up a forged lock on sale with the sheer motive of an investment. Coming soon, we are also going to allow renting of the love locks where a user could be strategizing with an investor mindset.
LoveBlock allows you to forge new locks by using the blueprint of one or more locks. The forged locks, as of now, could be put on sale on the Marketplace with a predetermined price. Choice of the blueprints affects the characteristics of the newly generated lock which in turn can dictate the price to an extent.
