Sorry, no photos - they wouldn't let us take any!

Just saw 'Beautiful - the Carole King Musical' at the theatre in Toronto where it has been playing for a few months after a two-year run on Broadway. Fantastic show, well-staged, great story and performances, and great songs and singing!

Since it is Love Friday I thought I would ask how many of you spent the early 1970s, like my wife and I did, listening to Carole King's 'Tapestry' LP over and over again?

Not then, but, I listen to her now! Does that count?

Of course! Good music is timeless (unlike me).

LOL

Over and over! That must have been a fun production.

It was fantastic. Didn't realize how many songs she had written before she got her own 'voice' on Tapestry, also interesting story about her friends who also wrote unbeleivable stuff like Righteous Brothers' 'You've lost that loving feeling'!.

I have so many from that era on my Spotify playlist and listen to them often. Good stuff.
