Episode 1 opens at the Museum of Art with Assane Diop. He looks up at the Mona Lisa's painting while sweeping. The Queen's Necklace he admires then. It'll be up for millions of euros to be auctioned.
Assane needs his son to see
Assane encounters his former girlfriend Claire in the next scene. He needs to see his son and he's making sure things are going to be different. She helps his son to see. Among them there is a friendly scenario. When they go, Claire turns around and smiles. She puts childcare into her dress.
At a block of flats Assane meets Vincent; Vincent is angry that Assane does not have the money. Vincent threatens to drive him off the balcony — Assane asserts Vincent that he will be making the most money by robbing the necklace of the queen. He demands a squad, then reveals his plans to the museum. Episode 1 brings to life Assane's plans, showing what the public wants him to see.
"The Master"
Episode 1 is back in 1995 — Assane is walking with his dad. Father asks a man who is trapped in a broken down car (Mrs. Pellegrini) if he wants help, but she locks the door.
