The ride-hailing company Lyft is in another issue when the news came about leakage of customers data to employees. The company said it is investigating about the issue of abused access of customer data by employees. One of the employees claims, he went on for “too long".
According to the employee who made the claim, data of prominent figures are being looked by employees including requesting rides and tracking.
“I’ve heard at least one employee brag about having Zuck’s phone number from using our data,” the person said, using the nickname for Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. (Mr. Zuckerberg did not have a comment for this article.) “Another employee has bragged about collecting the info of Hollywood actresses and porn stars,” the anonymous person said.
Lyft issued a statement on the matter and said we have received the clearances of the matter from all employees who are on the job to maintain customer data and we are investigating the issue for further details to ensure the privacy of customers.
