Apis andreniformis or black honey dwarf bees are a relatively uniquely honey bee species whose main habitat is the tropics and subtropics of Southeast Asia.

Overall, it tends to give many useful products for human consumption. For A. andreniformis in particular, some commercial products include royal jelly, wax, honey, and bee venoms. In addition, they are important for pollination of flowers and plants.
