Photo of the day - Macro Primula

Here's a photo from the last weekend, when I went to the mountains and picked some Primula.

In Bulgaria there are 8 known varieties of this wild flower, and 4 of them are protected species (hope, the one I picked was not among them...).
There are recently a lot of primula flowers all around, and some of them are cultivated and hybridized and are coming in various colors. The wild ones here are always yellow in color. It's generally used for making tea here in Bulgaria, bit its roots may be used for some medical treatments (stomach, throat, nerve system) as well as its flowers and petals.

This flower actually blooms from early spring, and even in Russia its name is "Първоцвет" literally translated Early blooming.
