The Hesperiidae are members of the Superfamily Hesperioidea. Worldwide in distribution, skippers are richest in the tropics. More than 3,500 species are described, with approximately 275 in North America, many of which are found only in Arizona and Texas. Most skippers are small to medium, usually orange, brown, black, white, or gray. A few have iridescent colors.
This butterfly looks different from its other kind, it has double wings. By the time he settles his wings are closed so we can not see the other wings but when he has been perched for a long time he will open his wings so we can see the wings that stand erect between his wide wings.
According to the identification of these butterflies are mostly found in america but today I found this butterfly in Aceh. And maybe in some other areas.
