MAGA... the GREATER Depression.

in maga •  6 years ago

In America, one of the things that was really and truly great, was the Great Depression.

If you have been following anyone but the MSmockingbirdM about the economy, you already know that all the real indicators show that we are heading into a big downturn.

The MSM says that inflation is 2-3%, ShadowStats says it about 10%, and this box of sugar says its 23%
The MSM says that unemployment is 4%, ShadowStats says its about 22%, and looking at the rust belt, i would say its even higher.

The MSM shouts about the stock market going up and up and up.
They never whisper one word that this is the longest uptrend with no pullbacks or consolidations that used to be normal.
They also never tell you that if you plot the FED balance sheet against the stock market, they are REALLY strongly correlated. As in, the FED has been printing money, and that money has been going into the stock market.

The MSM loves to talk about rising house prices.
But, they give little, if any discussion about millenials being priced out of the market.
That, when the baby boomers sell to move into a retirement home, or a grave yard, that there will be no one to sell to.

In other words, all of the statistics that the MSM spouts to keep the illusion of a solid economy is all based on lies. It is, propaganda. Soon, like Wile E. Coyote, the dust will clear and we will see that we aren't standing on anything.

America is now entering the Greater Depression.

However, this is not going to be a depressing post.

For those who are prepared. For those who are ready to make a better life for themselves, this is one of the greatest opportunities in history.

One of the biggest problems of the Great Depression was that there was no money. One town had only one five dollar bill. Because of this, things were very hard. There wasn't any money to employ people with, so there were no jobs, and no food being shipped.

This time, we have cryptos. So, as The US$ disappears (or hyperinflates), there will be something that can take up the slack and get goods moving again.

Further, all of us in the cyrpto space will be fabulously wealthy. That 2¢ post will buy $200 worth of groceries in the future (after crypto adoption). Each satoshi will probably worth more than $1 a piece. And this site is giving away about 50 of them every hour just for clicking.

Robots are taking our 'jerbs' is all the rage in the MSM.

Fortunately, this is a good thing. For those that see it coming and are prepared to benefit from it.

In the world of must have a car, to go to a job, to own a house... this loss of jobs is a tragedy. The entire way of life is about to come crashing down.

However, lets say you were a farmer. You grew your own food on your own homestead.
Is automated milkers a bad thing or a good thing? It means milk without having to spend 30 minutes of your time every day.

Imagine the savings as you have robotic helpers that kills weeds and does other things to tend the garden. Literally you can be living off of less than 10 hours of labor a week. And the supply line for making sure you and your family are fed is a couple hundred feet, and not 3,000 miles.

Imagine the simplicity of getting replacement parts out of your 3D printer. Yes, those cast and machined metal parts are way out of the capabilities of 3D printers today, but the things that really break down. Those plastic gaskets and bearings. Those can all be easily printed. And, if you are staying ahead of the curve, we will start seeing many home(s) built tools to replace all the shit coming out of Wallymart.

Life is about to get a lot simpler... as long as you are not relying on a jerb to afford the car and the house.

Or, in other words, Get out of the City and into a small community

Yes, we are looking at the face of a GREATER DEPRESSION.
But, we are also look at the beginnings of a greater opportunity.

The problems are to give up trying to hang on to your old ways of life.

Do not try to take on some more debt to save your suburban house (that you think is your largest asset) it is worthless. In the near future, there will be adventurous youngsters that go through these cracker jack boxes to strip all the copper.

When you see the first signs of actual collapse, it is already too late to sell your home.

I would suggest divesting yourself of all your junk. Turn it into cash on fleaBay, and then into an actual homestead or cryptos.

On top of the economics, there is also the mini-ice-age that we are entering. This winter will be harsh. The next winter will be killingly brutal.

So, if you are not already in a position where you can survive on your own homestead; if you are trapped in a dead end job and strapped with a suburban house, then now is the time to divest yourself of toys (that you aren't using), sell your junk, and move to a much more sustaining lifestyle.

Good post sir, good advice.

Debt are the chains everyone carries, but don't realize it...
(except me. lol )

I gave up the debt game decades ago.
It's the only way to be truly free.

I strongly agree with what you wrote and I'm working towards the things you suggested.

Just working towards it puts you ahead of 99% of the people out there (well, in there... stuck in cities)

StormcloudsGathering is interesting to listen to.

But, we have been watching this slow motion train wreck for a while.
The pain is coming, its inevitable. But me, and many others would have sworn it would be here by now.

No one expected Quantitative Easing.
No one expected crypto-currencies.
No one expected derivatives of derivatives.

But as the guy from Peak Prosperity often says,
"i went towards this life(style) with trepidation, but if knew just how much better it was (from hindsight) i would have ran towards it."

The Grand Solar Minimum really makes you think. Simple and safe is my plan.

It (sun spot cycles) is scientifically proven, and its predictions are spot on.
Unlike the global cooling warming climate change snake oil (taxes) sales job.

So, you would think that every night, on the news, they would say,
"The winters are going to be getting colder and longer, how are you preparing to stay warm and fed?"
