Being Disappointed By The Secrets Of Magic Tricks

Ohhhhh it's finally arrived in the mail! A big parcel has been handed to you by the mailman, and now you're standing by your front door, looking down at it.
You have a good idea what you will find inside the package...
Hardly surprising really, you’ve been thinking about it being in your hands from the moment you hit the ‘confirm order’ button.

It's here!

Your next move…

Tear off the packaging, play with the props and feel a sense of disappointment? Probably! It's a cruel fact in magic that the secret is never as good as the effect it produces. That's why TV shows that reveal the secrets of magic don't have great ratings over time. The real value of magic, its charm and attraction, comes from the feeling created by the magician using the props.

The mechanics of magic arn't special in and of themselves. By their very nature they are ‘empty’.

For example, there is nothing amazing about a coin or a handkerchief. But once the coin is put inside and morphs into something else, then MAGIC comes into existance. The tools don’t contain this, it’s how they are used that creates the perception of magic.

When you get a new magic trick, you are excited about the trick you saw demonstrated and intend to perform yourself. But the package doesn't hold any of this, it’s up to you to make it. If you want to avoid that feeling of disappointment and get the most from the new magic trick you decided to learn? Selecting a new trick to learn is really just the first step!

I've written a free book teaching you how to get the best from the next new magic trick you intend to learn. It takes you from the moment you rip open the packaging to your first performance.
