Maintaining a balanced and healthy life is challenging and may seem impossible. But it's actually very easy if we determine and focus on this. The main reason why we can't ensure this is our lack of realization. We all want a happy life, want to live a healthy life yet we want other unhealthy things too. Or unknowingly put ourselves in many unhealthy things.
That's why I believe the realization should come first. Like where we want to see ourselves in life, what we actually prefer and prioritize, how we want our life to be. When we make ourselves clear about this basic thing we can focus what to add and reject from our life, right?
I guess, there's no need to say that a balanced life means less stress and less stress means we will feel more happiness. This math is very simple. But achieving this is not. Because sometimes you may work hard to maintain a balanced life but your surroundings and circumstance will not let you do so. But as I was saying if we determine to achieve that we can make it happen.
Identify what causing you to have an 'unhealthy lifestyle', what habit changes are necessary, who to be with, and not to get a balanced life. We have to understand that this is not just about food or people; it's about almost everything. But we can start with a few things. Like getting rid of the most unhealthy habit, for example, smoking. On the other hand, adopting something positive like mediation or yoga.
Balancing an imbalanced life is way more challenging. But if we start to make it happen, slowly but gradually we will notice the changes. Stick with it, belief in it and it will certainly improve your level of happiness!
