I have been looking for this Mancala Board game for a long time. I thought only Philippines has this but I guess I was wrong. They also have this here in US. I was so happy when my mom in law gave this to me. This board game brings back lots of my childhood memories. I used to play Mancala/Sungka with my siblings, cousins, friends and even with my aunt, uncle and grandparents. We had so much fun playing this game. I know it's very simple but we love it. Now I just need to teach my American husband on how to play this game so we can play it together.

The second picture is the Sungka in Philippines.

Now let me tell you how to play Mancala/Sungka.

The object of the game is to capture the most beads in your Mancala/Sungka until all beads in cups are gone. Player with most beads in their Mancala/Sungka wins!

Set up: Two players facing each other with the Mancala board between them. The board is set up with a row of 6 cups (called house) for each player and a larger cup to his left (called Mancala). Each player places 4 beads in each of his 6 cups (houses). Decide which player will move first by flipping a coin.

How to play: The first player picks up all the beads in any of his 6 cups. Then he starts to show them by placing one stone in each cup to the right (clockwise) around the board including his own Mancala but not his opponents. Should the player place his last bead in his Mancala he gets another turn. If the player places the last bead on his opponents empty cup, then it will be the opponents turn to play. If he places the last bead on his empty cup he gets all the beads on the opponents cup directly in front of that cup.

Thank you!😃
