Where Did it all go Wrong and How to Save the West from Leftist Scumbags?

in manifesto •  8 years ago

Today capitalism is largely dead. There are some vestiges here and there – mostly in the black market, or in limited platforms, like Steemit or Bitcoin, but basically that’s it – there’s no more economic freedom. For every step of the way you need licenses, approvals and other permissions from statist busy-bodies and government know-it-alls. As the frog has to be boiled slowly, lest it jumps out the pot, so did this sovietization of the West had crept in like an annoying rash that had graduated into a full blown horrifyingly disfiguring skin disease.
For us, freedom lovers the early 1900’s was the belle époque, the paradise lost, when you could travel the world from North pole to South Pole, from New York to Beijing without ever needing passport, money had been a store of actual value, you could start an enterprise just like that and the shops were full of legal cocaine that could be purchased even by children. These were the years of unprecedented freedom and all of it was brutally snuffed out in the trenches of World War One. After that we had Communism in the East, Fascism and Nazism in the West, a second World War and half of century of hundreds of millions of people in the clutches of communism.
The 1990’s were the same turning point as the 1900’s. The West had done it –the Red Menace was vanquished right at the gates – communism had failed, the old Soviet Union was dissolved and what remained were defeated geopolitical vagrants that begged the west for some change so that they would not completely starve to death. And the West obliged – it treated the leftovers of the Soviet empire with love, empathy and kindness and by that unwittingly it blew the dog whistle for every Marxist, socialist, Leninist, Keynesianist, Moist and any other leftist loudly proclaiming that it’s all OK – you folks can destroy untold millions of lives, because you’ll end up with barely a slap on the wrist.
What we needed back then was a new Nuremberg – a trial of the century that would try, convict and jail major soviet functionaries, members of the Party and the Nomenklatura. The world desperately needed a grandiose tribunal that would absolutely humiliate and terrify once feared movers and shakers of the communist world.
The purpose of the old Nuremberg Trials was not justice or retribution, but showing the world that Nazism will never be tolerated ever again. And it worked – we do have some localized pockets of Neo-Nazis but they are insignificant to the point that we can affirmatively say that Nazism is done, possibly forever.
The West had a chance to stop leftism in its tracks but what it did – was give it cheap loans that it never got back and award Mikhail Gorbachev the Nobel Peace Prize – the man who tried to save The Soviet Union with every ounce of strength he had – up to the point of ordering battalions of armed Red Army soldiers to city squares with the express purpose of stopping peaceful protesters using tanks, bayonets and bullets. It was a farce, that laid down a bright red carpet for history to repeat itself, only this time in the West.
Today we blame capitalism for everything, although capitalism is long gone. When people around the world were cheering the defeat of the Soviet Union, when Francis Fukuyama proclaimed the end of history, the poisonous red snake of socialism, snuck in the chambers of the sleeping king, quietly strangled him, took his clothes, took his crown and convinced everybody that It was the King – long live King Capitalism!
And so quietly it went on and capitalism in the West was fully and thoroughly warped and perverted, up to the point that most people don’t know the difference between capitalism and quasi-capitalist socialism anymore. Before the 1990’s inflation was the greatest enemy to prosperity, now it’s your best friend. Back then the idea of a hug room or safe space was as preposterous as a free speech zone. In those days calling things gay was funny and not an act of an unimaginable hate crime.
Today most of the Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto are enacted throughout the world. Today we have the SJW’s trying to police language – the very first thing that has been done by every single communist regime on the planet. Today we see the progressives trying to create The New Man – the greatest fetish of all leftism, that produced dead bodies on a scale that makes Nazis look a little naughty. All of it – things that were unimaginable just a mere quarter century ago are being created today, in the richest, most prosperous region of the world that owes literally everything to capitalism.
And it all started when the West flinched and spared socialism from the killing blow. It believed, that it can be reformed, remolded into something new and less dangerous, but what happened was exactly reverse.
If you look at history, you’ll notice that it has a habit of swinging back and forth like a pendulum. There’s a reason for that – nature loves balance and people, as products of nature are subject to the same laws. The only way not to repeat it all over again is to treat your enemies as they would treat you. Yes, today the conservatives and libertarians are feeling happy, because after decades of leftism, the pendulum is swinging their way, but folks, make no god-damned mistake – the leftists will play humble tramps all over again. They’ll ask for forgiveness, they’ll make promises that this time it’ll be different, just please, please, please – bail us out, just this last one time.
I cannot stress enough how imperative it for us, guardians of liberty, not to give in and bow to their demands and let them rot in the wasteland of their own creation. You don’t owe them a single god-damned thing. Empathy you say? Where was their empathy when they were printing the value out of your savings? Where was their empathy when they were subjecting you to thousands of pages of new regulation every single year? Where was there empathy when they were herding your children in to the intellectual enclosures of state-run schools? Where was their empathy when they were cutting and carving up your paycheck, leaving you a pittance?
All the main conflicts in life boil down to a single one – resources are limited, but people’s desires are not. In the words of greatest philosopher, we ever had – Batman – in a growly voice storm’s coming. A storm that was bought on by thinking that by share desire you can make resources unlimited. The simple truth is – you cannot save everybody – there’s simply not enough resources. You cannot play communism and divide them amongst everybody either, because you can’t sort of save someone – you can save them, or not – that’s it – there are no middle grounds in between.
Oh there will be plenty temptations to give in: firstly, they’ll try shaming you into helping them – they’ll call you greedy and mean, afterwards they’ll be demanding it, and finally they’ll try blatantly taking away what you have. If you want to save the West from total annihilation, you have to be prepared, you have to be nimble and you have to be unrelenting in your views. Your main task is to wait for the Ape-creatures of Soviet to rip themselves apart and show the world that this is what happens to those who have the hubris of thinking that they can know better.
If you like the West and everything it can offer, like: free markets, freedom of expression, freedom of choice, freedom from tyranny, then you have a duty of saving it and in order to do that, you have to be fully aware that if you don’t mind the pendulum – you’ll be crushed by it both times and this time we cannot afford it at all.
