Recently I talked about a unique volcanic formation - White cliffs on the island Itupur. There are a lot of unique and interesting places on Itupur and one of them - the Black Rock. Arriving to them on the shore of the Sea of Okhotsk, we went to the beach where they are located. So, as usual, there was no one, but was immediately clear that we're guests.
There are a lot of black cliffs on the Earth so why the black rock on Iturup looks unique? It is interesting because that represent the local rocky outcrops where the rocks are formed almost regular hexagons.
