While watching the "March for our lives" with such pride and admiration on March 24th, 2018, moments of which brought tears to my eyes, I couldn't help but think that our country is on the verge of a major political shift. For decades upon decades, corporations have been buying our politicians and shaping our country in a way that inflates their bottom lines.
Will the people of the United States finally take control of our government? I certainly hope so. Holding our representatives accountable and making sure they have our best interests in mind, shouldn't be a radical idea. To be honest I've been part of the problem for standing by in my 48yrs. In my "defense" I was of the mindset that it couldn't be changed. I've changed my mind.
