Margherita Pizza
The simplest of the "pizze". The one that was created in Naples for Queen Margaret in the colors of Italy: red tomato, white mozzarella, green basil.
This is the pizza that I prefer!
Certainly, your pizza will not be exactly the same as that made in a pizzeria because your oven does not heat enough but it will be good anyway.
Ingredients for a pizza:
The one you make at the companion or a dough bought on the market.
A mozzarella ball
Olive oil
A bouquet of fresh basil
Oregano powder: normally we do not put oregano on the pizza Margherita but I like it so I add a pinch)
Preheat oven to high and low at maximum temperature
Spread the dough with your fingers until it reaches the desired size (30 cm in diameter) taking into account that the edge has to be thicker than the center of the pizza.
Place the sauce on the dough leaving two cm around the dough without sauce so that the edge can inflate and form the "cornicione" (cornice in French)
Sprinkle thin slices of mozzarella over the sauce
Add basil leaves
Sprinkle with a pinch of oregano
Put a splash of oil on the whole
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 280 ° in the bottom of the oven
Enjoy!
