I am exploring Steemit for the first time. I'm a total newbie and a dutch blondie so not that smart. Hope I won't be lost in the steemy crowd. Help me! I don't even know how to upload a profile pic or write a bio here ;-) But I will start with my first article and I hope you will enjoy it.
My name's Annet, mother of Lulu and an iPhone junkie. Why so hooked? The iPhone way of photography is pure. You can capture moments before they pass and it connects you with the world. “No monstrous Canon or Nikon in between, just me and the other”. I ‘own’ the Amsterdam streets with my iPhone for nearly 7 years now. Amsterdam collects stories for me, I simply read the book and visualize. iPhone photography is totally Zen, don’t need a shrink, but I do visit a lot of bars to charge my battery. My work has been exhibited in gallery's in NYC, Sweden and Berlin.
Meet Michael, a friend, and a reggae rastafari. Everywhere he goes, you know you are on the right track to the coffeeshops. He's a sort of silent marijuana guide. Visiting Amsterdam, you won't miss him, the guy is everywhere. I love Michael, his friendly face, his happiness: "Yo sis, yo brother, smile at me, smile at the world, this is fucking Amsterdam!"
