Cannabis Oil has become the 'talk of the town' in recent news and the way things are going, there are strong opinions on the subject. It takes us back to the old time propaganda flick "Reefer Madness", where kids at the local soda fountain are getting their 'kicks'.

To this date, the U.S. government still classifies marijuana as a Schedule 1 drug, defined as having “no medicinal value and highly addictive.” Second to heroin.

On the document, they clearly state the following:
"To date, long term effects of marijuana concentrate use are not yet fully known; but, we do know the effects of plant marijuana use. These effects include paranoia, anxiety, panic attacks, and hallucinations. Additionally, the use of plant marijuana increases one's heart rate and blood pressure. Plant marijuana users may also experience withdrawal and addiction problems."

um, okaaay...

Which brings me to...U.S. Patent 6630507

The Abstract of the document begins with:
"Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDA receptor antagonism. This new found property makes cannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limiting neurological damage following ischemic insults, such as stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and HIV dementia. Nonpsychoactive cannabinoids, such as cannabidoil, are particularly advantageous to use because they avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses useful in the method of the present invention."

Feds Say Marijuana Isn't Medicine While Holding Patent on It as Medicine

The entire Patent is a very interesting read. And to imagine that the US Government now own the patent, would only mean that there is more to it than just the method of making these concentrates. I almost feel that DEA wants to control the substance and cash in on it. BIG.

This is only the tip of the hypocritical iceberg.  While only three US States have legal recreational marijuana and canna oils, available at local dispensaries, may appear to be headed in the right direction on busting this silly myth. Right?  We'll, quite the contrary. 

If you are someone suffering from chemotherapy, severe anxiety or tension headaches, and are looking for an alternative that has proven, time and time again, to work, I highly recommend looking into Cannabis Oils. As the patent states, Cannabinoids are beneficial to the human body. It's in black and white!

I hope this steemit post has, at the very least, made you aware of the possibilities of an ongoing underground plan to shut down 'the cure'. Let hope it doesn't come down to that.
